Filter the vacancies by remote opportunity, maximum 1 week ago open position and look for UI/UX and/or product design positions

Tell me about yourself

I'm a designer with about 8 years of experience. Over the past few years, I've worked primarily on complex digital products like SaaS, Web3, logistics, and enterprise systems

I'm currently responsible for product design at Alien Worlds, one of the largest blockchain gaming platforms that had over 8 million users. There, I manage key user scenarios, the design system, and participate in developing the product strategy in collaboration with the CPO

Prior to that, I worked at Awesomic as a lead designer for startups at various stages of growth. I was typically brought in for projects with high uncertainty, where I had to build the UX from scratch, define the product structure, and streamline processes. I've worked with companies in fintech, logistics, advanced manufacturing, and Web3

Looking back over my entire career, I've noticed one pattern: I'm most often invited to work on complex products where I don't just need to design interfaces, but also create the structure, make product decisions, and build design processes from scratch. These are the types of tasks that interest me most, and where I bring the most value

Why are you looking for a new job?

As the Web3 market has changed, the company has also adjusted its strategy and team size. It feels like the right moment for me to take everything I've learned and apply it to a new product where I can continue growing and have long-term impact

Why are you interested in our company?

I looked at your product and found it interesting that you work in {INDUSTRY}. I think there are complex user tasks where my experience could be useful: working with complex scenarios, building systems, improving user flows and maybe some managerial stuff

What are you looking for in your next company?

For me, a balance of several factors is important. Of course, the financial aspect must be reasonable with my experience and responsibility. A remote work environment is also important to me.

But after working with various companies, I realized that I value stability and the opportunity to influence the product over the long term. I'm interested in companies where I can do more than just complete tasks, but grow with the product and company

How do you handle criticism?

Part of routine. For me the important question isn't whether someone agrees or disagrees with my design—it's understanding why. Sometimes feedback reveals business constraints, technical limitations or user needs that I hadn't fully considered.

My goal is always to understand the reasoning behind the feedback and use it to improve the product

What management style works best for you?

I've worked successfully in both small startups and large organizations. I adapt well to different management styles. Of course, everyone work better with managers who provide clear goals, context but tt the same time, I am fine to work in environment withour structure and take full ownership

How do you resolve conflicts?

I wouldn't say I've ever had a direct conflict; rather, in the early stages of misunderstanding, I simply try to discuss the issue 1-1 to understand the real cause of the disagreement. Often, disagreements arise from different expectations or a lack of context.

If the issue affects the team, we discuss it together and come to a solution based on shared product goals

Did you manage people?

Yes, but not in a traditional way. Most of my leadership experience has been hands-on.

The most experience is focused in Maxitech and Awesomic. At Maxitech I became a Email department lead, I have led design initiatives, mentored designers, onboard new people , established design systems and helped improve cross-functional collaboration. It was up to 7 people

At Awesomic, I was joined some startups teams where in addition to what I said above I was responsible for performance reviews and budgeting for short term

What are your strengths?

I think my biggest strength is bringing structure into ambiguous environments with balance between business and users needs

Throughout my career I've often joined products that lacked an architecture, design systems or clear product direction

What are your weaknesses?

Earlier in my career I sometimes spent too much time searching for the perfect solution. Over time I learned that product design is often about balancing quality with speed, validating ideas early and improving them through iteration

What is your strongest project?

Let me first clarify what exactly do you mean by "strong." Is it the most beautiful, or the most complex, or the most successful in terms of metrics, or the most complex in terms of processes?

Tell me about a project that failed

I wouldn't say I've had projects that completely failed, but I've had situations where I wasn't fully satisfied with the outcome

One example was when I wasn't able to convince stakeholders to reconsider a product decision about filternig and sorting system that I believed would increase user friction

How do you measure design success?

Success always depends on the original goal. If the objective is growth, I look at metrics like conversion, activation, retention or engagement

If we're improving usability, I focus on reducing friction, task completion and user satisfaction

For internal tools or design systems, I measure success through delivery speed, consistency and reduced implementation effort

What is your Web3 experience?

I've spent around 4 years designing blockchain products, primarily at Alien Worlds. My work included onboarding, gameplay systems, token economies, NFTs and complex blockchain interactions

One of the biggest challenges was translating complicated blockchain mechanics into simple user experiences for non crypto users

Are you more of a designer or a manager?

I consider myself a hands-on Product Design Lead

Design remains my core strength, but over time I've naturally taken on more leadership responsibilities such as improving design processes, mentoring designers and helping teams make better product decisions

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I see myself continuing to work on complex products where design has strategic impact. Whether as a Lead Designer or Principal, I'd like to keep influencing product direction, improving design quality and helping teams make better decisions

Request of the Stringer

Do you have an experienced ERSA stringerwho was working withnatural gut for years?

Due to injury of radialnerve I need the top professional because the frame of the racket is soft and could be easily deformed and I don't need it because it will lose the antivibrationcapabilities. Plus, I am going to change strings every 30 hours so I need a long term master, not an intern guy who will break the racketand disappearnext month.

If you have the stringer, then here arerequirements, is stringer capable to do it?

Instructions for Stringer

English version

Due to a radial nerve injury I need top-quality service. The Wilson Clash frame is very specific and flexible – improper stringing can easily deform it, destroying its anti-vibration properties, which are crucial for me. Using an awl to straighten the strings is strictly prohibited – this irreversibly damages the gut structure

Racket: Wilson Clash 100L V3.0
Strings: Babolat VS Touch 1.30 (natural gut)
String weight: 20 kg (vertical strings) / 19 kg (horizontal strings)
Method: Two-piece knots
Pre-stretch: I request a 10% pre-stretch (using an electronic stringing machine)
String speed: Very slow (slow pull) to avoid overheating and damaging the gut structure
Direction: Horizontal strings are strung from the top of the frame (top-to-bottom)
Knots: Parnell knots only to minimize tension loss

Additional notes: Please carefully inspect grommets for sharp edges before starting work

The initial call is pivotal in onboarding clients for design services as it establishes rapport, clarifies project goals, and aligns expectations. It sets the foundation for a successful collaboration by fostering mutual understanding and trust. Moreover, it is a first impression that shows the level of your proficiency

Call Script

Hello

Nice to meet you, my name is Max. I am the CEO at Designer :s Agency and the whole communication during our collaboration will be with me. So if you don't mind, the agenda for today's call is next:

Firstly, I have to torture you a bit with questions to get a better understanding about your business and goals that you are trying to achieve through our design services. Then, I will explain the processes and how the whole project will be implemented, and in the end, if you have any questions we can discuss. Are you agree?

Great, then let's start with question:

Thank you! Your submission has been received!
Oops! Something went wrong while submitting the form.

Processes

Amazing, we are finished with questions and it is time to talk about the processes.

Flexible Communication & Task Management

Chat: Google email/Slack/Whatsapp or any other messanger
Calls: Google or Zoom
Task Management: Clickup and Figma comments or I can join your task board/tool

Milestone 0-1

The whole project is divided on milestones. Each milestone will include a time range and list of tasks that should be done. Such document with full scope of tasks is called “Specification of Requirements”. Based on the scope, we complete the tasks and approve it with you accordingly.

Payment

Each of the milestone has a price, so you don’t need to pay full price for a project at once. You can pay per each milestone. The important note here is to protect our side and your side from any issues. Before we start work on milestone, we ask our clients to pay 50% from milestone cost, when tasks are fully done and approved, then client pay another 50% from its cost. In this way both sides are protected.

Feedback Mechanism

During working on the tasks, we are using status badges that show the state of the task (work in progress, need approve, approved and etc). You will also have such statuses in Figma file and in task management tool.  Whenever task is done we can have call/chat to approve the task. In case of need some edits, we also can use Figma comments and management tool mechanics. When all tasks in milestone are done and approved, we will prepare files to transfer and expecting second part (50%) payment of the milestone price.

Do have any questions?

Great, then the last but not the least, our next steps
